A 21-year-old motorist was booked on suspicion of felony drunk driving and felony hit and run for his alleged role in a traffic crash in Alhambra that injured a mother and her daughter, police said Saturday.
The daughter was listed in serious but stable condition at an area hospital’s intensive care unit. Her mother was treated and eventually released, according to Alhambra Police Lt. Gabriel Ponce.
Ponce said he had no other immediate information.
El Monte resident Abundio Flores-Ramon was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail and his first court appearance has been scheduled for Wednesday, the Alhambra Police Department reported.
The mother and daughter were injured in the collision at Main and Fourth Streets in Alhambra at 8:48 p.m. Friday.
According to media reports, Flores-Ramon then continued driving for four blocks, where his vehicle crashed and struck two more people, whose conditions are not known.
