Police Wednesday sought the public’s help in locating a 78-year-old man missing since February from the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles.

Raymond Mitchell was last seen about 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 20 leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the 8700 block of Beverly Boulevard and has not been seen or heard from since, causing his family great concern, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Mitchell is black, 6-feet tall, weighs about 175 pounds and has gray hair. He is missing two front teeth, has a prosthetic left ear and was wearing a black leather jacket, blue pants and white tennis shoes when he went missing.

Anyone with information regarding Mitchell’s whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800. After-hours or weekend calls should be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7 and anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling (800) 222-TIPS.
