A man and a woman were in custody Wednesday after they were arrested in connection with a pair of burglaries in Pomona.
Daniel Fausto Vidal, 23, and Angela Rodriguez, 32, both of Pomona, were arrested on Saturday after burglary investigators determined they were involved in two separate residential burglaries, according to Pomona police.
“During one of the residential burglaries, the suspects were interrupted by a victim and a witness while inside of the residence,” according to Pomona police Sgt. Bert Sanchez. “A witness was also able to obtain a photo of both suspects including their vehicle.”
Police say both Vidal and Rodriguez were recorded entering a garage attached to one of the residences, where they attempted to steal a vehicle from the garage by pushing it into an alleyway before again being interrupted by a victim, Sanchez said.
Rodriguez was being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood in lieu of $85,000 bail, while Vidal was being held at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to sheriff’s inmate records.
