A woman was fatally shot Friday in the Firestone Park area near South Los Angeles.
The woman died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 11:30 a.m. near Hooper Avenue and 92nd Street, according to the sheriff’s department.
No arrests were reported.
Authorities withheld the victim’s name, pending notification of her relatives.
