Authorities Sunday sought the public’s help with any information that could lead them to the person or persons connected to the shooting death of a 24-year-old rapper in Inglewood.
Officers responding to the 600 block of Hardin Drive at 12:20 a.m. Friday on a shots fired call found the rapper dead at the scene, the Inglewood Police Department reported.
The shooting victim was later identified as Shawn Ivy, said Investigator Kristy McCracken of the coroner’s office.
Ivy performed under the name Sean Mack, police said.
About 200 people held a vigil near the shooting scene Friday night.
