As mistaken legend has it, British-born rocker Ozzy Osbourne committed a youthful indiscretion in 1982 — urinating on the hallowed Alamo in Texas. Now he’s set to apologize in San Antonio — but not for an Alamo desecration.
According to Texas media, his deed was on the Alamo Cenotaph — the 60-foot statue of 1939 that honor the defenders of the Alamo.
“[San Antonio] Councilman Robert Trevino confirmed that rocker Ozzy Osbourne will visit the Alamo to make amends for a past mistake. … Osbourne was arrested for urinating on a monument near the Alamo.”
Trevino said Osbourne, 66, is coming to “make amends.”
MySanAntonio.com reports that Osbourne will appear at the historic site Thursday to tape a segment for his upcoming History Channel show.
“And while officials are trying to keep the spectacle at a minimum, District 1 Councilman Robert Trevino has said that the metal god has been in contact with his office, and will make a formal appearance today.”

To be entirely honest, we forgot Ozzy ever pissed on the Alamo. We kind of think he did, too, until recently.
