Los Angeles Rams receiver Mike Thomas has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances, the league announced Friday.
Thomas is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games. He will be eligible to return to the Rams’ active roster on Oct. 2 following the team’s Oct. 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Thomas was chosen in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL draft out of Southern Mississippi. He played in 15 of the Rams 16 games in 2016, catching three passes for 37 yards. All his receptions came in the final four games of the season.
