A woman who apparently was killed in a hit-and-run was found lying on a roadway in the Winnetka Wednesday, police said.
Officers were sent to Roscoe Boulevard and Lurline Avenue about 5 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, died at the scene, police said. She was not immediately identified.
