Two people were injured Thursday in a house fire in Jurupa Valley.

The fire was reported about 2 a.m. in the 3000 block of Pacific Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The injured people were transported for hospital treatment in unknown condition, the fire department reported.

According to ABC7, three dogs died in the fire, and one of the injured people is a 14-year-old boy.

The father of the teen said his son was in a deep sleep and they had to break a window to get him out, according to the station.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
