The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since April 25, decreasing 2 cents to $3.435.
The average price has dropped 26 of the past 27 days, decreasing 45.4 cents, including 1.4 cents on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 9.1 cents less than one week ago, 37.3 cents lower than one month ago and 38.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped to its lowest amount since April 24, decreasing 1.8 cents to $3.373
The Orange County average price has also dropped 26 of the past 27 days, decreasing 46.2 cents, including 1.2 cents on Wednesday. It is 12 cents less than one week ago, 40 cents lower than one month ago and 41.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
