A five-candidate forum on topics concerning the Latino community will be held Sunday at Cal State Los Angeles, one day after a similar event at the California Democratic Party’s Fall Endorsing Convention.
South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg; former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro; California Sen. Kamala Harris; Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders; and former hedge fund manager Tom Steyer are expected to participate in the 10:30 a.m. forum, which will cover “topics concerning the Latino community, including immigration, health care, jobs, economic security and education,” according to organizers.
The forum will be televised by ABC7.
The five participants in Sunday’s forum were joined by New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and entrepreneur Andrew Yang at a forum Saturday at Long Beach Arena.
