A ticket with all six numbers in Wednesday evening’s multi-state Powerball lottery drawing was sold in West Virginia and its owner has 60 days to choose whether to accept the lump sum payment of approximately $107 million or the estimated $135 million jackpot paid out over 30 years.
The numbers drawn Wednesday were 1, 3, 26, 41, 64 and the Powerball number was 17.
The drawing was the 16th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The jackpot for Saturday’s draw will be $20 million.
The jackpot had previously restarted at $40 million, but under changes announced March 25 because of declining sales related to the stay-at-home orders issued by various governors responding to the coronavirus outbreak, the starting figure was reduced.
