A person was killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Long Beach, authorities said.
The crash on the southbound freeway at Long Beach Boulevard occurred a little after 5:50 a.m., with initial reports detailing a crash involving a Ford truck and a Honda Civic, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative from the coroner’s office was called to the scene at 6:34 a.m.
A SigAlert was issued at 6:27 a.m. closing all southbound lanes at Long Beach Boulevard for an unknown duration.
