Authorities Monday sought public help to find a Littlerock woman last seen May 19, and her father said he fears she may have met with foul play.
Monique Figueroa, 27, was last seen by her father driving away from her home in the 7200 block of East Avenue U-12 about 4 a.m. May 19, said Deputy Amber Smith of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
On Saturday, her burgundy 2004 Mercedes-Benz was found in the Palmdale area, Smith said.
“Her family is very concerned, and is also asking for the public’s assistance,” Smith said.

Figueroa’s father, Jeff Figueroa, told ABC7 his daughter’s boyfriend was recently arrested in a murder case and she was known to hang out with gang members. He said he believes some of those acquaintances feared she would become a witness against them.
“I believe my daughter was kidnapped due to the company she kept and the knowledge she knows about possible murders,” Jeff Figueroa told the station.
“We’re just assuming that’s why she was kidnapped,” he said. “We’re hoping for the best, of her safe return.”
Figueroa is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. It is unknown what type of clothing she was wearing. ABC7 reported she is the mother of a 2-year-old girl.
Anyone knowing her whereabouts was urged to call sheriff’s detectives K. Shonka or W. Holston at (323) 890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
