3 guys answering sex ads are met by undercover cops at hotel

Three males answering internet ads offering sex were arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor solicitation when they were met by undercover deputies at a Santa Clarita hotel, authorities said.

The sting on Thursday was part of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and targeted “suspects attempting to buy sex after answering internet advertisements,” said Lt. David Oliva of the sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau.

None of the suspects was from the Santa Clarita area, he said.
