Two men were stabbed during a fight after they left a church service in Azusa on Sunday, police said.
The service ended just before 1 p.m. at Praise Chapel Azusa when the victims left the building, only to return moments later with stab wounds, Azusa police Det. Sgt. Bruce Badoni told NBC4.
Badoni said the victims were involved in a physical altercation outside the church with an unknown third party, who attacked them with an unidentified weapon in the 600 block of East 5th Street, the network reports.
One of the victims made it to the church’s entrance while the other collapsed in the parking lot.
Both men were hospitalized with critical injuries, according to NBC4.
A suspect description was not available.
