A man was shot and killed on a street corner in the Florence area of South Los Angeles early Saturday.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of South Broadway and West 84th Street at 12:40 a.m., Los Angeles Police Sgt. Rudy Alaniz said.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds, but the circumstances of the shooting were not known, Alaniz said.
The victim’s name was not immediately released and the shooting remains under investigation.
