A man was pistol-whipped during a home invasion robbery Saturday morning at a residence in Hollywood Hills.
Paramedics rushed the man from the home in the 2600 block of Astral Drive to an area hospital, where he was being treated for a head laceration. He was listed in good condition, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.

The home invasion occurred about 3:35 a.m. when the two robbers — one wearing a ski mask and the other a bandana — somehow entered the home while the victim was with some acquaintances, Madison said.
The two suspects took some property and fled the scene in a Nissan Maxima, which was found nearby in the area of Nichols Canyon Road and La Canstana Drive, he said.
A ski mask, a bandana, and some property taken during the home invasion robbery was also recovered in the Maxima.
