
Authorities sought public help Wednesday to identify two men who stole about $10,000 in gold rings from a jewelry store in Industry.
The heist occurred about 4:15 p.m. March 17 at C&L Jewelry Repair, 1600 Azusa Ave. One suspect distracted the business owner while the other opened a display case and stole the rings, with a collective value of about $10,000, according to the sheriff’s department.
Detectives circulated security photos of the men. Both are black and about 35-40 years old. One of the robbers was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds, with black hair and two thick braids. He was dressed in dark clothing.
His accomplice wore a tan hat, a white T-shirt and tan shorts, and carried a black backpack.
