One person suffered a smoke inhalation injury Monday in a fire that consumed a Rowland Heights home.

The fire was reported at 2:18 p.m. in the 20000 block of Rhapsody Road and was knocked down just after 3 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

One person suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to a hospital, according to a dispatch supervisor who said the initial report to the fire department stated the home’s water heater was on fire.
