Trevor Fix of Long Beach pleaded not guilty to a pair of burglary charges and one count of identity theft.

Fix allegedly broke into the preschool at Lakewood Village Community Church and stole several electronic items last Saturday. He allegedly stole cash, checks, a credit card and other electronic items from the church during another break-in four days later.

Fix was arrested Wednesday, after the stolen credit card’s owner notified police that the card had been used at a store.

He is due back in a Long Beach courtroom Aug. 19 and could face up to 4 1/2 years in county jail if convicted as charged, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
