Police Saturday were looking for the gunman who shot a 16- year-old boy in Pomona.
Officers were dispatched at 7 p.m. Friday to Washington Park in the 800 block of East Grand Avenue to investigate several reports of shots fired, according to Pomona Police.
Upon arrival, they found the boy on the ground suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said.
He was in stable condition when firefighters took him to a hospital.
Police said a male suspect fled the scene, possibly in a silver or beige Honda Accord with a rear spoiler. No further details were available.
