
Police Wednesday circulated photos of a Armenian man sought for robbing a Glendale liquor store at gunpoint.
No one was injured in the robbery, which occurred about 9 p.m. Dec. 30 at Roy’s Liquor, 6520 San Fernando Road, the Glendale Police Department reported.
The suspect handed a clerk a brown bag, brandished a silver revolver and demanded money, police said.

“After receiving the money, the suspect told the victim not to follow him, or he would kill him,” according to a police statement. “The suspect then fled out the rear door and eastbound in the alley towards Justin Avenue. No vehicle was seen.”

He was described as a 25-year-old Armenian “with an accent” and a receding hairline. He’s 5-foot-7 with a medium build and dark hair, and had a possible tattoo or birthmark on his left ring finger.

A $300 reward was offered by Crime Stoppers, which can be reached at (800) 222-TIPS.
