A team of Los Angeles firefighters were headed north Thursday to assist in battling a wildfire in Tulare County that has burned 339 acres.

Twenty-two firefighters were taking five engines to the Dinely Fire, which is in the Three Rivers area, about 25 miles northeast of Visalia, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire, which was 15 percent contained as of Wednesday night, has prompted calls for voluntary evacuations for residents in the Three Rivers area, according to Cal Fire.
