Police Monday sought the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run SUV killer of a 57-year-old bicyclist in South Los Angeles.
The victim, identified by the coroner’s office as Albert Arnold of Los Angeles, was struck about 2:30 a.m. Saturday as he rode east across the northbound lanes of Broadway at 87th Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Arnold was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police described the vehicle involved as a possible late-model, dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe SUV.
Anyone with information about the fatality was urged to call investigators with the LAPD’s South Traffic Division at (323) 421-2500.
