Keitzman was on a 2006 Vespa L200 motor scooter when he lost control and landed in the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two unknown vehicles were believed to have struck him, along with a 2000 Honda Accord LX driven by a 41-year-old motorist from Long Beach who stopped to cooperate with authorities, the CHP said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing down all southbound lanes until just before 6 a.m. Friday
