Two people were critically injured Sunday evening when their motorcycle slammed into a parked car in Pacific Palisades, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash took place in the 17800 block of Pacific Coast Highway about 6:45 p.m., according to fire department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

At least one of the cyclists was ejected from the bike and down a hill, Humphrey said.

Both riders were transported to trauma centers by paramedics.

The victims’ ages and genders were not immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation by Los Angeles police.
