According to the CHP, the man was walking on the onramp when, “for unknown reasons,” he crossed in front of a 2015 Infiniti G37 that was going about 30 mph. Another vehicle then struck the back of the Infiniti, the CHP reported.
Both motorists stopped at the scene, and neither was hurt.
The onramp was closed until about 11 a.m. while an investigation was conducted.
