A woman working behind the counter of an Inglewood tax preparation business was wounded Wednesday evening when a gunman entered the location and opened fire at a man who was standing in line.
Officers responded about 5:30 p.m. to a shooting call at the business in the 11200 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, near Imperial Highway, according to Inglewood Police Department Lt. Neal Cochran.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was in stable condition and expected to survive, Cochran said.
Both the gunman and the man he targeted fled the business, and it was unclear if the intended victim was struck by gunfire, Cochran said.
A detailed description of the gunman was not immediately available.
