Sgt. Sandra O’Donnell said O’Brien was going west on Las Brisas when he veered into the curb, causing his motorcycle to weave out of control and overturn. Investigators are still not certain of the speed at which he was traveling, or why he struck the curb.

The motorcyclist was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he died about a half-hour later.

Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Detective David Hernandez at (951) 461-6396.
