Buffalo Bills football player Zay Jones was released on bond Wednesday following his arrest earlier this week on suspicion of felony vandalism after police went to a downtown Los Angeles apartment building in response to a report that someone was breaking glass out of doors and windows, authorities said.

Jones, 22, whose first name is Isaiah, was arrested in the 900 block of South Figueroa Street about 11:20 p.m. Monday, said Los Angeles police Officer Luis Garcia. He was released on bond about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s department.

The case is being presented to the district attorney’s office Wednesday, Garcia said.

According to, Jones “got into a bizarre naked struggle with his brother — who’s also in the NFL — and it ended in a bloody mess.”

TMZ posted a video of what it said was a fight involving Jones, who was nude, and his brother Cayleb Jones of the Minnesota Vikings.

“Cayleb was trying to stop him from jumping out a 30th floor window,” TMZ reported. “Zay eventually broke free, and ran in the direction of Cayleb’s  (girlfriend’s) apartment … you can hear her screaming.”

According to TMZ, at some point, Zay “ran back out of the apartment, entered a public balcony area and smashed his foot through a window.”

Jones was the Bills’ second-round draft pick last year.
