One person was airlifted to UCI Medical Center Saturday morning and another was taken to a hospital by ambulance after an ATV crash in Yorba Linda.
Orange County Fire Authority crews were sent to Blue Gum and Rimcrest drives at 2:40 a.m. and found two people injured, one severely, said Capt. Alan Wilkes.
One of the injured persons had to be extricated to the roadway in order to be airlifted to the hospital, authorities said.
That victim was treated as a trauma patient and rushed by air to UCI Medical Center, Wilkes said.
No word on their conditions.
