A shooting Thursday in the Westlake area left three people dead and two in critical condition, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 12:30 a.m. at Second Street and Union Avenue, said Lt. R. Petillo of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Station.
The dead were two men and one woman and the critically wounded were a man and a woman, Petillo said.
All of the victims were outdoors, she said.
No suspect information was immediately available.
