Police searched Thursday for a man suspected of exposing himself to a girl walking home from high school in Manhattan Beach.
The girl, whose age was not disclosed, was in the 600 block of Herrin Avenue about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday when she was approached by a small black vehicle with tinted windows, according to a statement from the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
The driver and a passenger asked the victim for directions to the freeway and as the victim was giving directions, she saw the driver was exposing himself inside the vehicle, the statement said.
The suspect fled the area and was last seen driving east on Fifth Street from Herrin Avenue, police said.
A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.
