A man in his 30s was shot and killed Wednesday morning in Azusa and authorities searched for the shooter.
Azusa police officers responded about 12:40 a.m. to the 600 block of North Rockvale Avenue and located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was found near the front door of an apartment on the second floor of the building, NBC4 reported. It was unclear if he lived at the location.
Sheriff’s detectives assisted Azusa police with the investigation.
A detailed description of the shooter or a motive was not immediately available.
