Police Thursday sought additional possible victims of a licensed marriage and family therapist accused of sexually assaulting two women during appointments at his Pasadena office.

Both woman reported they were attacked by 64-year-old Edgar Gustavo Villamarin, one during an appointment on Nov. 16 at his office in the 100 block of Orange Place, and the other at the same office on Jan. 11, 2016, according to Pasadena police Department Lt. Jesse Carrillo.

Villamarin, a resident of Pasadena, was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery on Nov. 27. He posted bond soon after his arrest and was released, Carrillo said.

According to the lieutenant, following further investigation, Villamarin was charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office on Jan. 9 with two counts each of assault with intent to commit a felony, false imprisonment by violence, sexual battery by restraint and one count of attempted sexual battery by restraint.

Bail was set at $450,000, Carrillo said.

Villamarin was arraigned on Jan. 10 and again was released after posting bail.
