A convenience store clerk in Norwalk was pepper-sprayed and the business was robbed Tuesday morning by three armed men wearing ski masks, authorities said.
Deputies responded to a robbery call about 1 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store in the 10600 block of Imperial Highway and learned the suspects had pepper-sprayed the clerk, grabbed an unknown amount of cash and were last seen running from the store eastbound on Imperial Highway, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A description of the suspects was not immediately available.
