A 77-year-old woman who is diabetic and diagnosed with the early stages of dementia was missing Thursday evening in Menifee.
Jennie Vasquez was last seen at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday leaving a bank near the intersection of Sun City and McCall boulevards in Sun City in a white Toyota Tacoma pickup with a diamond-plated tool box in the bed of the truck and California license plate DPX8074, according to Sgt. Curt Harris of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Vasquez’s family returned home around 4:30 p.m. and discovered she was missing and called the sheriff’s department.
Vazquez is Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, blue shorts and flip flops, Harris said.
Vazquez did not have a cellphone, credit cards, identification or medication with her when she left home, her family told authorities.
