A 36-year-old man accused of fatally beating his older brother during a dispute near Hemet last week is slated to be arraigned next month on a murder charge.
Timothy Anthony Condoluci of Hemet is charged in the July 10 death of 41-year-old Michael W. Condoluci, also of Hemet.
The defendant is being held in lieu of $1 million bail at the Robert Presley Jail in downtwon Riverside while awaiting arraignment Aug. 5 at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Espinoza, the victim was attacked shortly before 10 p.m. at a residence in the 26000 block of Green Avenue, just south of Highway 74, in a community just east of Hemet known as Green Acres. Espinoza said patrol deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of an assault and found Michael Condoluci with unspecified life-threatening injuries.
The victim was taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he died about four hours later.
Timothy Condoluci was questioned by investigators and arrested at the scene.
A possible motive was not disclosed.
The defendant has no documented prior felony convictions in Riverside County.
