One person was hospitalized Wednesday morning with injuries suffered in a hit-and-run crash in Anaheim.

The crash involved a white Chevrolet pickup truck and dark-colored Honda sedan and was reported just after midnight at the intersection of South Street and Harbor Boulevard, according to Sgt. Glenn Gate of the Anaheim Police Department.

A passenger in the Honda was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Gate said. The age and gender of the passenger was unknown.

The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene on foot and was described only as a white man, approximately 25 to 30 years old, Gate said.

The driver of the Honda told a news photographer at the scene he had the green light and the pickup truck driver ran a red light and plowed into the sedan.

Beer cans and wood debris were visible at the crash scene.

The driver of the Honda was not injured.
