Two Santa Ana men pleaded not guilty Friday to sexually assaulting two 14-year-old girls from Irvine.

Isai Hernandezhiginio, 21, was charged with felony statutory rape and Jason Rabadan, 20, was charged with oral copulation of a minor and sexual penetration by a foreign object of a minor, both felonies.

Hernandezhiginio was ordered to return to court for a pretrial hearing Feb. 21 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. Rabadan was next due in court Feb. 14 for a pretrial hearing in the Central Justice Center.

Police alleged the men gave the two girls — whom they met through the Snapchat social media platform — drugs before having sexual contact with them.

When police arrested Hernandezhiginio he was sleeping in his vehicle with one of the girls, who was a runaway from Irvine, according to Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
