A marijuana delivery driver was robbed in Irvine and the suspect remained at large Saturday, authorities said.
Police responded at 9:25 p.m. Friday to the intersection of Main Street and Jamboree Road, where the victim said the suspect took money and personal items, according to the Irvine Police Department.
A news photographer at the scene said the victim was called to the location to deliver marijuana to a customer when the driver was robbed of the product.
A gun was never seen but the suspect allegedly threatened he was armed, said Irvine police Lt. F. Jahid.
The suspect was described as a male in a red un-collared shirt, Jahid said.
No one was in custody, he said.
