The FBI Tuesday was investigating two threats made to members of Los Angeles Jewish Community Centers, according to NBC4, but the FBI does not consider the threats to be credible.
NBC4 did not provide details about the threats, but reported that at least one of the threat messages in Southern California was reported Monday.
“At this point in time, we do not consider these threats to be credible, there is no nexus to terrorism, and there is no threat to public safety,” Laura Eimiller of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office told City News Service. “As always, we urge the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
The Los Angeles Police Department was not able to immediately provide information about the threats received in Los Angeles.
