Authorities Wednesday identified a homeless man who was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Santa Fe Springs.
Brandon Jarrett Hudson, 35 was fatally injured about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday near Rosecrans and Marquardt avenues, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and Metrolink.
Hudson was in a “non-pedestrian area” when he was hit by the Orange County Line 688 train, which runs from Los Angeles’ Union Station to Oceanside, according to Scott Johnson of Metrolink.
Multiple Metrolink trains were delayed or canceled due to the collision, Metrolink reported. The investigation was being handled by the Whittier Police Department.
