Authorities Thursday questioned a man who barricaded himself in a residence in Lynwood after gunshots were heard in the neighborhood.
Deputies were sent to the 3000 block of Euclid Avenue about 10:20 a.m. on a report that shots had been heard in the area, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities learned that a man had fled into a residence and was refusing to come out, so they summoned a Special Weapons Team to the scene, the sheriff’s department reported.
The man came outside early Thursday afternoon, and was taken into custody for questioning, said Deputy James Nagao of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
No injuries were reported, and it was unclear if the man would be arrested, Nagao said.
