A man was seriously injured Sunday in Orange after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Lewis Street and El Prado Avenue about 1 a.m., police told the Orange County Register.
The pedestrian was left lying in the road. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries by paramedics, the paper reported. His current condition was unknown. His name and age were not disclosed.
The vehicle was apparently southbound on Lewis, but no one reported spotting it or the driver, descriptions of which were unavailable, police told the newspaper.
