A motorcyclist was killed Thursday evening in a hit-and-run on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in North Hills.
The collision occurred about 7 p.m. near the Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver who hit the motorcycle allegedly fled in a Range Rover, KCAL9 reported.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Information about the victim was not released.
All lanes of the southbound San Diego Freeway at Roscoe Boulevard were closed while emergency crews responded to the scene.
