Authorities Wednesday identified the officers involved in the fatal shooting of a family dispute suspect in the Harbor Gateway area.

Anthony Ysaac, 26, of Los Angeles was shot by officers at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday near 123rd Street and Menlo Avenue and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.

Southeast division officers — identified as David Orozco, David Torres and Brandon Prisk — were called to the scene by a woman who said her neighbor’s son, Ysaac, had a gun and was trying to kill his sister, police said.

Once officers arrived on scene and made contact with Ysaac over the phone, they learned he was refusing to let his sister leave the residence and had fired a round into a door, according to police.

At some point, Ysaac exited the residence with a revolver, and an officer-involved shooting occurred, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

None of the officers were injured in the shooting, and a handgun was recovered at the scene, police said.
