A man and a woman are expected to survive gunshot wounds suffered Sunday in Highland Park when two suspects got out of a vehicle and fired several shots at them.
The pair were walking in the area of York Boulevard and North Avenue 56 when the two suspects drove up about 1:40 a.m. and fired the shots, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Paramedics rushed them to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition, Cervantes said.
Police had no description of the suspects or their vehicle.
