A man was arrested in connection with the shooting death of his brother in Covina, police said Tuesday.
The shooting was reported about 12:20 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of East Wanamaker Drive, according to the Covina Police Department.
“Officers … discovered a 28-year-old male on the ground outside with apparent gunshot wounds,” a Covina police statement said.

Detectives found a handgun at the scene, along with shell casings, and arrested 26-year-old Rick Ortega of Pomona, police said. Ortega was released on bail on Monday.
Daniel Sisneros died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office. His city of residence was not known.
